Nighttime Russian strikes on Dnipro, Kharkiv, Odesa and Sumy region: 5 wounded in Dnipro, food warehouses damaged
New attacks were recorded at midnight: ballistic missiles and drones were used, a one-story building was destroyed in Odesa, and a 16-year-old girl was injured in Kharkiv
At night on 20 May the Russian army carried out massive strikes on several populated areas of Ukraine — Dnipro, Kharkiv, Odesa and Sumy region came under fire; injuries and destruction were reported.
Heads of regional military administrations informed about the course and consequences of the attacks in the regions, specifying details on infrastructure damage and the condition of those affected.
Dnipro was hit the hardest: food warehouses were damaged, there are at least five wounded, two of them in serious condition, and the strike was carried out, among other means, with ballistic weapons around midnight; at 1:34 movement of strike drones was recorded again.
“Five people were hospitalized: a 40-year-old man and a woman in serious condition, a 25-year-old is in moderate condition,” — reported the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration (OVA), Oleksandr Hanzha.
In Kharkiv, the Kholodnogirskyi and Novobavarskyi districts came under fire; among the injured is a 16-year-old girl with an acute stress reaction, head of the OVA Oleh Syniehubov reported.
Explosions in Odesa were heard at 2:00 and 2:06; residential buildings and cars were damaged, a one-story structure was completely destroyed, rescuers and an operational headquarters are working on site, and information about possible casualties is being clarified.
In the Sumy region the enemy used strike drones against the Konotop and Shostka communities; private homes were damaged and residents were injured.
“Sumy region is under massive attacks by enemy UAVs. A hit in the residential sector has been recorded,” — reported the head of the OVA Oleh Hryhorov.
