The strike hit combat aircraft and an ammunition depot. The distance to the target was approximately 500 km.

Among the struck targets:

  • Su-35 — a multirole fighter considered one of Russia’s most advanced combat aircraft. Its export value is about $100 million.
  • Su-34 — a fighter-bomber that is a key aircraft of Russian tactical aviation. Its export value is approximately $50 million.
  • An ammunition depot located on the airfield premises.

Both types of aircraft are carriers of guided aviation bombs — KABs. Russian forces widely use these munitions on the front line and to strike Ukrainian cities.
