Among the nine wounded is a rescuer who was injured during a renewed attack
Russian forces attacked Kyiv and other regions of Ukraine during the day. In the capital, strikes on gas stations killed two people, and nine others were injured.
Among the injured was a rescuer who was wounded during a follow-up strike. Russian forces also hit the building of the company «Kyivstar».
The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky noted that the attacks have continued since night. Strikes were recorded in the Kyiv, Kirovohrad, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa, Donetsk, Kherson, Kharkiv, and Mykolaiv regions.
“Only today, and only from these strikes, two people were killed.”
Volodymyr Zelensky expressed his condolences to the families and relatives of the deceased. He also called to focus maximum attention on defending the airspace and finding solutions to counter Russian drones.
“We cannot simply wait for Russia to perfect its arsenal of murder. Right now we must focus as much as possible on protecting the sky and finding solutions to protect people, as well as on scaling up countermeasures against Russian drones. Thank you to everyone who helps strengthen Ukrainian aviation and air defense systems with the necessary missiles. All of this saves lives every day.”
