The markings have been updated: will the hospital in the Korabelnyi district truly become barrier-free for patients?
Parking spaces for people with disabilities have been refurbished near Hospital No. 5
In the Korabelnyi District of Mykolaiv near the Center for Infectious Diseases of City Hospital No.5, parking spaces designated for people with disabilities have been completely renovated. The medical facility reported this on 11 September 2026.
The parking zones are located directly next to the Center for Infectious Diseases. As seen in the photos published by the hospital, new clear markings with the accessibility symbol have been painted on the asphalt, and an appropriate road sign has been installed nearby.
The hospital notes that the renovation is intended to simplify patients’ access to the building and make it safer and more comfortable. The medical facility emphasizes that arranging such zones is part of the work to create a barrier-free space for patients.
