Motorcycle caught fire near a house: 12 fires extinguished in the Mykolaiv region in one day — in Mykolaiv — State Emergency Service report

September 10 in the Mykolaiv region 12 fires were recorded. The total area of burning exceeded 1.5 ha.

One of the fires occurred on a vehicle: in Pervomaisk a motorcycle caught fire near a house. Firefighters extinguished it over a small area.

Other incidents involved fires of rubbish, dry grass, shrubs and crop residues. The distribution of calls in the source is as follows:

• 4 fires — in Mykolaiv district;
• 3 — in Mykolaiv;
• 2 — in Bashtanskyi district;
• 1 each — in the Mykolaiv and Pervomaisk districts.

Units of the Main Department of the State Emergency Service responded to all reports. In some incidents local fire service units were involved in extinguishing operations.
