Mykolaiv kickboxers won 27 medals in Odesa

Students of Mykolaiv’s Children and Youth Sports School “Olimp” won 27 medals at two national ISKA kickboxing tournaments held in Odesa from September 10 to 13. The athletes competed in the Ukrainian Cup and the nationwide competition “Path of the Champion”.

At the Ukrainian Cup, 81 athletes from 14 regions of Ukraine participated. In total they represented 24 clubs. Mykolaiv’s female kickboxers won 7 awards:

• Ангеліна Цуканова — 2 gold medals;
• Анастасія Педоренко — 2 gold medals;
• Софія Ісоченко — 2 silver medals;
• Надія Тонконогова — 1 bronze medal.

The athletes were prepared for the Cup by coach Irina Bondarenko.

The nationwide competition “Path of the Champion” gathered 310 athletes from 13 regions of Ukraine and 33 clubs. Representatives of Mykolaiv’s Children and Youth Sports School “Olimp” won 20 medals at this tournament.

Students of coach Irina Bondarenko achieved the following results:

• Анна Чолаку — 1 gold medal;
• Даніїл Свержевський — 2 gold medals;
• Дар’я Синяк — 1 gold medal;
• Поліна Алтухова — 1 gold and 1 silver medal;
• Поліна Бровко — 1 gold and 1 bronze medal;
• Анастасія Алтухова — 1 gold and 1 silver medal;
• Єлизавета Димова — 2 bronze medals.

Awards at the competition were also won by students of coach Максим Багінський:

• Максим Буряк — 1 gold and 1 bronze medal in Thai boxing and K-1 light;
• Глєб Брижатий — 1 silver and 1 bronze medal in Thai boxing and low-kick;
• Артем Грушицький — 1 silver and 1 bronze medal in K-1 light and Thai boxing;
• Дмитро Руснак — 2 gold medals in Thai boxing and K-1 light.
