A 57-year-old female cyclist sustained injuries in a collision with a Nissan Leaf
A woman was hospitalized; the circumstances of the accident are still being investigated
September 15 at around 07:10 near the intersection of Maysterska and 5th Voienna streets a 57-year-old female cyclist and a Nissan Leaf driven by a 50-year-old man collided. The woman sustained injuries and was hospitalized.
All circumstances of the road traffic accident are being clarified by investigators of the Department for the Investigation of Crimes in the Field of Transport of the Investigative Directorate of the Regional Police Headquarters. The incident has been preliminarily classified under part 1 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine — violation of traffic safety rules or the operation of transport by persons who drive vehicles.
The sanction of the article provides for up to three years of restriction of liberty with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for the same period.
The police ask witnesses and anyone who has information about the circumstances of the road accident to call 098 351 03 55 or the emergency line 102.
