In the Korabelnyi District, they will begin preparing "papers" for a settlement for displaced persons
In Mykolaiv, five sites are being urgently prepared for modular homes for internally displaced persons (IDPs)
In the Korabelnyi district of Mykolaiv they will begin preparing five plots of land on Bohoyavlenskyi Avenue for the subsequent installation of modular houses and the organization of temporary accommodation for internally displaced persons.
The corresponding order No.440r 10 September 2026 was signed by the mayor Oleksandr Senkevych. The document was published on the Mykolaiv City Council website 11 September.
According to the order, it concerns the formation of five plots of land with an approximate total area of 3,250 square meters. Each of them will have an area of about 650 sq. m and will be located on Bohoyavlenskyi Avenue in the Korabelnyi district.
The land preparation will be handled by the Department of Urban Economy of the Mykolaiv City Council. It must carry out the necessary procedures for forming the plots, prepare land management documentation and subsequently register the land for permanent use.
During the land registration, officials must immediately take into account its future purpose — placement of modular houses and the creation of a temporary accommodation site for IDPs.
The Department of Architecture and Urban Planning will also be involved to assist in resolving issues related to the placement of modular houses on the prepared plots. Other executive bodies of the city council should also join the project’s implementation as needed.
The basis for the order was the city council decision of 6 August 2026 No.56/19, by which the Department of Urban Economy was allowed to develop a land management project regarding the transfer of these plots into permanent use. Due to the social significance of the project, the mayor separately instructed not to delay its implementation.
Control over the execution of the document is assigned to the Deputy Mayor Yurii Andriienko.
