Bread Factory No. 1 baked a festive korovai for the residents of Mykolaiv

For Mykolaiv City Day Bread Factory No. 1 prepared a festive korovai for residents. The city’s mayor, Oleksandr Senkevych, spoke about the gift to the townspeople.

According to him, for many Mykolaiv residents the bread factory has long been more than just an enterprise: its products are perceived as the familiar childhood taste of their native city.

In the greeting to the staff it was especially noted that the factory has not stopped operating during the full-scale war:

“It is especially valuable that even during the full-scale war you continue to work. On the day when the enterprise was shelled, you still baked bread and delivered it to people,” the greeting said.

Workers were thanked for their daily work, resilience and dedication to the people in the most difficult times, as well as for the festive gift to the city.

Summing up the greeting, the mayor emphasized:

“Mykolaiv knows the taste of its bread. And knows those who bake it every day.”
