In Kherson, an FPV struck the windshield of a bread delivery truck: the driver of Mykolaiv Bread Factory No. 1 was killed
The Kherson Regional Military Administration called the attack deliberate, because the large letters on the side of the vehicle were clearly visible
On the morning of 29 July in the Central district of Kherson a Russian FPV drone attacked a bread truck, resulting in the death of the driver of the Mykolaiv Bread Factory No. 1, Oleh Horobets.
The Kherson Regional Military Administration reported that the vehicle had «BREAD» written in large letters, so the drone operator could not have failed to understand that it was a civilian vehicle; nevertheless the drone was directed straight into the windshield.
The administration emphasized that this attack is another deliberate strike by Russian forces on the civilian population.
The death was later confirmed at the Mykolaiv Bread Factory No. 1, where the driver worked.
“As a result of the FPV drone strike our colleague, driver Horobets Oleh Petrovych, was killed. The injuries sustained were incompatible with life,” reads the statement from the company Mykolaiv Bread Factory No. 1.
The bread factory added that Oleh Petrovych was a kind, sincere and responsible person who was respected by colleagues and valued for his conscientious work.
