In the Mykolaiv region, 36 fires broke out over the past day: the flames nearly reached houses
Rescuers saved three houses and two outbuildings
29 July and on the night of 30 July on the territory of Mykolaiv region there were 36 fires not related to enemy attacks. The total area affected by fire exceeded 18 ha.
In the vast majority of cases dry grass, shrubs, crop residues and rubbish were burning. Fires occurred both in open areas and within the residential sector.
In the village of Petropavlivske of the Horokhiv community the fire from dry grass nearly spread to houses and outbuildings.
Rescuers managed to prevent three residential houses and two nearby buildings from catching fire.
The most fires were registered in Mykolaiv district — 11. Another 10 occurred in Mykolaiv, 8 — in Bashtanskyi district, 4 — in Voznesensk district and 3 — in Pervomaiskyi district.
