In Mykolaiv, water quality at distribution (dispensing) points was tested, and the results have been published
Specialists from the Regional Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health tested the drinking water and reported the inspection findings
Specialists of the Main Department «Mykolaiv Regional Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine» checked the quality of drinking water at water dispensing points in Mykolaiv; most of the samples taken meet safety standards, however deviations in the pH level were recorded at three locations.
The center noted that this time samples were taken at points located at the following addresses:
- Kosmonavtiv St., 140-ts
- Kosmonavtiv St., 144-k
- Troitska St., 222-k
- Kolodyazna St., 15-v
- Marka Kropyvnytskoho St., 131-v
Laboratory tests covered assessment of sanitary, organoleptic and chemical indicators of drinking water.
Based on the analyses, it was established that at most dispensing points the water meets safety requirements. At the same time, samples from the points at Kosmonavtiv St., 140-ts, Marka Kropyvnytskoho St., 131-v and Kolodyazna St., 15-v showed deviations of the hydrogen index (pH) from the normative range.
The agency noted that recommendations were sent to the enterprise responsible for water quality to correct the parameter to acceptable limits.
“The administration of the enterprise responsible for water quality has been given appropriate recommendations to bring the parameter within permissible limits”, – the message says.
