"Shahed" drones struck Mykolaiv in broad daylight: residential buildings and cars damaged

The head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, Vitaliy Kim, April 30 2026 reported on the aftermath of an attack by Russian “Shaheds” on Mykolaiv.

According to him, the strike damaged an apartment building, a two-story private house and a car. As of 14:00, there are no casualties.

Separately, Vitaliy Kim commented on the situation with power outages in the region. According to him, energy workers are gradually restoring electricity after previous damage.

Immediately after the end of the air raid alert, all necessary services and representatives of the district administration went to the scene. The elimination of the aftermath is ongoing, – reported Mayor Oleksandr Senkevych.

The emergency crew «Mykolaivelektrotrans» also promptly arrived on site. Specialists inspected and cleared the contact network of foreign objects and possible damage. After an examination by explosive ordnance disposal technicians, permission was granted to resume traffic.

Russia again attacked a civilian city, leaving broken windows, damaged housing, shattered peace of mind and problems with electricity. Even when there are no injuries, for residents such strikes mean a night of fear, repairs paid with their nerves and another reminder that the enemy is targeting ordinary life.
