From Ryazan to Crimea: Zelensky confirmed new strikes on oil refineries, logistics, and a base of Russian boats
Several Russian regions under attack: what Ukrainian forces struck
29 July 2026 the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported new results of Ukrainian long-range strikes on facilities that support the Russian war machine. The strikes hit oil industry enterprises, logistics infrastructure, a military enterprise and the base location of boats of the Black Sea Fleet of the RF.
In the night before 29 July the Defense Forces struck the Ryazan oil refinery in the Ryazan Oblast of the Russian Federation (RF). The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed a hit and a subsequent fire on the facility’s premises.
The Ryazan refinery is one of the largest oil refining enterprises of the aggressor state. Its capacity is about 17 million tons of oil per year. The plant produces automobile gasoline, diesel and aviation fuel and other petroleum products that are used, among other things, to supply the Russian military-industrial complex and the occupying army.
In addition to the refinery, a logistics center was hit in Ryazan, located approximately 360 kilometers from the Ukrainian border. According to published information, it was a sorting complex of the Russian marketplace Wildberries, where a large-scale fire broke out on the premises after the attack.
Ukrainian forces also attacked the base location of high-speed boats of the Black Sea Fleet of the RF in the Mizhvodne area in temporarily occupied Crimea. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, this facility was used for maintenance and support of boats involved in coastal patrols and the occupiers’ military logistics. Information about the enemy’s final losses is being clarified.
Long-range strikes were also applied to an oil refinery in the Perm region, as well as to an export terminal and a military enterprise in the Rostov region. The names of the latter two facilities and the extent of their damage were not specified in the President’s statement.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported the new results of the Defense Forces’ operations on his official channel.
“We have new results from the use of our long-range strikes on Russian facilities that work to sustain and continue the war. An oil refinery and a logistics center in Ryazan have been struck. The distance from the Ukrainian border is about 360 kilometers. There are hits on the base location of high-speed boats of the Black Sea Fleet of the RF in our temporarily occupied Crimea. Long-range strikes were also applied to a refinery in the Perm region, as well as to an export terminal and a military enterprise in the Rostov region. Thank you to our warriors for their accuracy and to everyone who provides such long-range results. Russia must feel that every day of this war will cost it only more. We must weaken the aggressor and continue to apply pressure to bring the end of this war closer”, – the President reported.
