Threw a metal rod into a service vehicle: a ТЦК employee was seriously injured
Attacked a Territorial Recruitment Center representative during a document check: man detained
In the Lozova district of Kharkiv region, a 34-year-old local resident was detained on suspicion of attacking an employee of the Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support (TCC). The victim sustained serious bodily injuries and was hospitalized.
According to the Kharkiv police, the incident occurred on July 12, 2026, in the village of Orilka during mobilization activities. TCC representatives were checking military registration documents and notifying citizens.
During the document check, a conflict arose involving a 50-year-old man between the notification group and civilians. According to investigators, one of its participants threw a metal rod at the service vehicle, injuring a TCC employee.
Law enforcement identified the probable attacker and detained him under Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine.
The man was notified of suspicion under Part 3 of Article 350 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine — violence against a public official or a citizen performing a public duty.
The suspect faces up to 12 years in prison. The pre-trial investigation is ongoing.
