Adventists help insulate the heating main in the Korabelnyi District
Heat won't escape: in Mykolaiv they're "insulating" pipes properly
The press service of OKP «Mykolaivoblteploenergo» on May 5, 2026 reported that the enterprise continues systematic preparations for the heating season, focusing on the condition of the heating networks in the Korabelnyi District of Mykolaiv. Currently they are carrying out works to replace the insulation on an above-ground large-diameter heating network.
This concerns pipelines with diameters of 273 mm and 219 mm, where the insulation coating is being renewed. The total length of the section under repair is 270 meters.
As of now specialists have already completed more than half of the planned scope of work.
The enterprise notes that materials received from donors — the organization «Charitable Foundation “Adventist Development and Relief Agency in Ukraine”» — were used for these works. Such support helps speed up the preparation of infrastructure for winter under conditions of limited resources.
The municipal enterprise emphasized that such works are critically important for retaining heat, reducing energy losses, and ensuring a stable heating season amid the war.
