He didn't show his documents, but a bystander saw the fight: a new conflict with the TCC in Mykolaiv
Balaclavas, a blow to the face and a pistol: what happened during the clash near the City Center
On Thursday, 30 April 2026, in the morning on Central Avenue in Mykolaiv a clash occurred involving people in military uniforms and balaclavas. According to preliminary information, the conflict began after police stopped a man born in 2003 and asked him to provide his military registration documents.
The man, it is reported, refused to show the documents. After that, employees of the TCC Central District were called to the scene. During the interaction between the recruitment center servicemen and the man, a group of unknown citizens ran up to them. After that, a fight broke out between the participants in the incident.
During the clash, one of the TCC employees received a heavy blow to the face. The video from the scene also shows that one of the men in military uniform and a balaclava produced an object resembling a pistol. At the same time, there is currently no official confirmation as to whether it was a real firearm.
The incident in the city center once again heightened public tension around mobilization measures, document checks and the actions of alert groups. During wartime, such situations require the clearest possible legal assessment: both regarding the behavior of civilians and the actions of TCC representatives and the police.
