A day under "Shaheds": in Mykolaiv region - five injured and power outages

According to the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, as of the morning of April 30, 2026, during the day and at night Russian forces attacked the Mykolaiv Oblast with Shahed-type UAVs “Shahed”. The energy and transport infrastructure were hit. Due to the attack there were power outages in parts of the settlements of Mykolaiv and Bashtanka districts. Energy workers have been working on restoration since April 29.

As a result of the attack and falling debris in the Mykolaiv district, 5 people were injured. In Mykolaiv a 49-year-old man was hospitalized. As of the morning his condition is assessed as moderate, without deterioration. Another 3 men aged 18, 45 and 47 were given medical assistance on site. They will continue treatment as outpatients.

In the Kutsurub community a 69-year-old man was wounded. He was also given medical assistance on site and refused hospitalization.

In addition to the “shahed” attack, in the Mykolaiv district the enemy attacked the Ochakiv and Kutsurub communities with FPV drones 5 times. According to the RMA, there are no casualties from these attacks.

Again Russia struck not only infrastructure but also ordinary people. According to the figures of the morning summary — injured residents of the region, settlements left without power, the work of energy workers after the strikes, and another proof that enemy drone terror remains a daily threat for Mykolaiv region.
