20 people attacked employees of a TRC near Poltava; eight detained
A conflict occurred near the village of Nyzhni Mlyny involving representatives of the TCC and the police
Near the village of Nyzhni Mlyny in the Poltava region on the morning of March 13 at around 11:00, a conflict occurred between a group of citizens and representatives of the Territorial Recruitment Center and the police; law enforcement detained 8 men, and 3 servicemen and 3 police officers suffered injuries in the form of chemical burns.
The Poltava Regional Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Center reported the incident.
According to the institution, approximately 20 people attempted to block the work of a notification team, which included TRC servicemen and police officers.
Tear gas was used during the clash, as a result of which 3 TRC servicemen and 3 law enforcement officers sustained chemical burns.
After additional police units arrived, the offenders’ actions were stopped, and 8 men who were obstructing the notification team’s work were detained.
The TRC also clarified that 6 of the detainees were identified as belonging to the mobilization reserve; these individuals are currently undergoing a military medical examination.
