Gas Supply to Be Shut Off in Part of Mykolaiv for Repairs: It Won’t Be Restored Without Residents’ Presence
The work is scheduled for October 28–30; some addresses will be affected by the outage
In Mykolaiv, gas supply will be temporarily suspended at certain addresses in one of the city’s districts from 08:00 on October 28 until 16:00 on October 30. The reason is scheduled repairs to the gas distribution network. The upcoming shutdown was announced by the Mykolaiv branch of Gazmerezhi.
Not all buildings on the streets listed below will be without gas—only certain addresses. The shutdown will affect:
- Sadova Street;
- Pohranychna Street;
- Hromadianska Street;
- Ihor Bedzai Street;
- Tsentralnyi Avenue.
The networks are being repaired to keep them in proper technical condition and ensure the safe supply of natural gas to consumers. Gas service will be restored gradually as the scheduled work is completed.
The company’s specialists have asked residents of houses and apartments to:
- turn off the valves on the gas pipes leading to gas appliances;
- allow employees of the Mykolaiv branch of Gazmerezhi access to gas appliances in their homes so they can carry out the work needed to restore supply.
For safety reasons, gas will be reconnected only when residents are present in their houses or apartments.
