In Mykolaiv, police said there was no traffic accident involving a cyclist: the man voluntarily went to the Territorial Recruitment Center

On September 1 at around 12:00 the patrol police of the Mykolaiv region received a report of a road traffic accident involving a cyclist. Patrol crews and an ambulance team arrived at the scene.

After checking the circumstances, the police established that there was no collision between a car and a bicycle. According to the man himself, he lost control and fell next to a car that was passing by. The driver and the cyclist had no claims one to the other.

The cyclist refused medical assistance. He said he did not sustain injuries during the fall and feels fine.

During the document check, the patrol officers found that the man is listed as a person evading conscription and is subject to being delivered to the Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support.

The patrol police reported that the citizen agreed to voluntarily go to the Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support to clarify all the circumstances. After that, the patrol officers delivered him and handed him over to servicemen of the Inhulskyi Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support.

Earlier a different version of events was reported. According to the published information, a local resident named Roman, who was riding a bicycle, was allegedly hit by an Opel car. It was also claimed that after the accident the police put the young man in a car and drove him to the Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support of the Inhulskyi district.

Before his phone was taken from him, the cyclist managed to contact his wife. He reported that during the accident he suffered a traumatic brain injury: he complained of a headache, nausea and intermittent urges to vomit. The man asked his wife to call an ambulance for him.

As journalists found out, the cyclist has now been released from the Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support.
