The situation with the state finances of Ukraine has become critical, said Prime Minister Serhiy Koretskyi. He urged deputies to approve as soon as possible the bills on which the receipt of nearly $30 billion in international aid depends.

The government must present Parliament with a timetable containing clear deadlines for each vote. If deputies do not meet the set deadlines, Ukraine risks losing a significant portion of the $29.5 billion pledged by international partners.

Serhiy Koretskyi explained what the state needs these funds for:

This is a critically necessary resource to balance the budget, social spending, and the needs of the Defense Forces.

The prime minister assured that the government will fulfill its part of the commitments. These concern 42 decisions that are planned to be completed by October 15. Thus the process is to be accelerated compared with the previously announced deadline — November 1.

The synchronized work of Parliament and the government was discussed during a meeting with ambassadors of the G7 countries and the EU. Government officials are ready to work together with deputies on each provision of the bills to secure the necessary support and speed up decision-making.
