For over 50 years alongside patients: Farewell to Larysa Medovets in the Korabelnyi District

The staff of Mykolaiv City Hospital №5, located in the Korablenyi District of Mykolaiv, reported July 13, 2026 about the death of the senior nurse of the physiotherapy department and head of the trade union organization Larysa Oleksiivna Medovets. She passed away after a long illness.
For over half a century Larysa Oleksiivna Medovets worked at City Hospital №5 and devoted her professional life to helping people. At the medical facility she is remembered as a highly professional, responsible, and dedicated employee.
Over decades of work she earned deep respect from colleagues and patients thanks to her knowledge, experience, kindness, humanity, and sincere attitude toward everyone who needed help.
As head of the hospital’s trade union, Larysa Medovets consistently defended the rights and interests of employees, cared for the unity of the staff, supported colleagues, and was a mentor to medical workers.
The hospital emphasized that the memory of Larysa Oleksiivna, her professionalism, warmth, and sincerity will forever remain in the hearts of those who worked alongside her and knew her personally.
The staff of Mykolaiv City Hospital №5 expressed condolences to the deceased’s family and loved ones.
“We share the pain of this irreparable loss and bow our heads in mourning. Eternal memory”.
The farewell ceremony for Larysa Oleksiivna Medovets will take place on July 15, 2026 at 11:00 on the grounds of Mykolaiv City Hospital №5, at a special site for farewell ceremonies.
