Throughout August 1 and into the early hours of Sunday, August 2, 2026, Russian occupying forces attacked Mykolaiv region with strike drones of the types “Shahed/Herbera”, “Molniya” and “Klin”. As a result of the enemy strikes, five people were injured, including a 4-year-old girl. A civilian vessel, gas stations, a private house and cars were damaged.

The Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration reported the consequences of the attacks as of 07:00 on August 2.

During August 1 the enemy attacked the region with strike UAVs of the type “Shahed/Herbera”. Port and transport infrastructure were targeted by Russian drones.

As a result of the attack in Mykolaiv, a 32-year-old man was injured. His condition allows for outpatient treatment. A civilian vessel was also damaged by the Russian strike.

In the Veselynivska community, a 60-year-old man was injured as a result of an enemy attack. He is also receiving outpatient treatment.

In the Bashtanka district in the early hours of August 2, Russian forces attacked the Snihurivka community twice with “Molniya” drones.

The strikes damaged the windows of a private residential house and a gas station. According to the regional military administration, no people were injured.

In the Mykolaiv district during the day on August 1, a Russian strike UAV “Klin” attacked the Vesnyanska community.

The strike injured three members of one family: a 4-year-old girl, her 29-year-old mother and her 61-year-old grandfather.

The condition of all the injured is assessed as satisfactory. They are receiving outpatient treatment. The enemy strike also damaged a gas station and four cars.

Thus, as a result of Russian attacks over the day in Mykolaiv region, five civilians were injured. Among the damaged civilian objects were a vessel, two gas stations, a private house and four cars.
