In Mykolaiv, consumers of OKP “Mykolaivoblteploenergo” owe the company almost UAH 277 million for heat supply services.

This was reported by the Mykolaiv City Council, citing the company.

As of 15 June 2026, the total amount of debt stands at almost UAH 277 million. Of this amount, about UAH 28.9 million are charges for May 2026.

The company says it is carrying out systematic work with consumers who have unpaid charges. This includes both pre-trial settlement and appeals to the courts and enforced collection through the State Executive Service.

Among the measures applied by “Mykolaivoblteploenergo” are informing consumers, concluding debt restructuring agreements, legal actions and forwarding decisions for enforcement.

In May 2026 the company received 127 court decisions on debt recovery. The total amount under these decisions is UAH 1,676,336.60.

Since the beginning of the year the number of court decisions received has reached 681. The total amount is UAH 10,587,722.21.

The company also reported the amounts that have already been forcibly collected through the State Executive Service.

In May, UAH 2,987,254.81 was collected in this way. Overall, since 1 January 2026, UAH 10,243,735.41 has been forcibly collected.

Mykolaivoblteploenergo emphasizes that the best way to settle debt remains voluntary repayment or entering into a debt restructuring agreement.

The company appeals to consumers who have debts, asking them not to let the situation reach the courts and enforced collection. Debtors are advised to resolve the matter in advance: either fully repay the debt or agree on restructuring on convenient terms.

The heat suppliers also warn that timely payment will help avoid additional costs related to court cases and enforcement proceedings.

At the same time, for many Mykolaiv residents the issue of heating remains painful not only because of debts but also because of high bills, the two-tier tariff, old networks and concerns about service quality. People pay under the difficult conditions of war, and the company, in turn, says stable revenues are necessary for the operation of the heat supply system.
