Russian terror: ballistic strikes on Mykolaiv twice in one morning; six FPV attacks across the region in 24 hours
Mykolaiv region endured another day of war
According to the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration (OVA), as of the morning of 4 May 2026, Russian forces again attacked the Mykolaiv region during the past day.
In the morning of 3 May the enemy struck Mykolaiv twice with ballistic missiles. Preliminary reports indicate missiles of the “Iskander‑M” type. As a result of the attack, injured (fractures, shrapnel wounds) were five people: three men aged 63, 65 and 71 years old, and two women aged 46 and 55 years old. All the injured were hospitalized. As of the morning of 4 May one of the victims is in serious but stable condition. Another four people are in moderate condition, also stable.

Due to the Russian strike, the city sustained damage to the enterprise’s warehouse building, an apartment building, 17 private houses and vehicles.
In the Mykolaiv district during the past day the enemy six times attacked the Ochakiv community with FPV drones. According to the OVA, no casualties have been reported there.
