Aftermath of a ballistic strike on Mykolaiv: 17 private houses, an apartment building, and vehicles damaged
The police urge citizens not to ignore air raid warning signals
In the morning 3 May 2026 Russian forces struck the center of the city of Mykolaiv with ballistic missiles.
As a result of the attack five people – 46, 55, 63, 64, 65 years old were injured, and 17 private buildings, an apartment building and cars were damaged.
At the scene, investigators of the Division for the Investigation of Crimes Committed in the Context of an Armed Conflict of the investigative department of the regional police headquarters and the investigative-operational teams of Police Station No. 1 and the Mykolaiv District Police Department are examining the scenes, collecting physical evidence and documenting the consequences.
The police urge citizens not to ignore air raid alerts and to promptly proceed to safe places and shelters.
