The occupiers aimed rockets at a civilian enterprise in Mykolaiv, – reported the head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration Vitaliy Kim on the telemarathon broadcast, commenting on the enemy RF ballistic missile attack on the regional center that occurred on the morning of Sunday, 3 May 2026.
“They were aiming at the enterprise: they probably thought something was being stored there. In reality, it is an entirely civilian enterprise. Of the injured there was one security guard who was on the premises, and a fisherman who was nearby. So I think they were aiming at the hangar. I don’t know why. And 17 private houses nearby and one apartment building were also damaged…
We haven’t had ballistic strikes for a long time. And, apparently, they were firing at some old targets. I don’t understand the logic,” Vitaliy Kim said.
Overall that day, as a result of the Russian attack on Mykolaiv, five people were injured – 46, 55, 63, 64, 65 years old (three men and two women). All of them – sustained moderate injuries (fractures and shrapnel wounds).
“They will be fine”, – said the head of the OVA.
