Montavon has stepped down from her duties, but “Mykolaivvodokanal” is still paying her
The City Council failed to secure enough votes to terminate her powers
Remuneration for the work of Hanna Montavon, chair of the supervisory board of Mykolaivvodokanal Municipal Enterprise, continues to be accrued. At the same time, the official has effectively not performed her duties for more than a month — this was reported by Dmytro Falko, secretary of the Mykolaiv City Council, at a session on October 29.
Montavon announced her intention to step down in September. At the time, she said she had submitted her resignation of her own accord on September 10, 2026. The chair of the supervisory board cited the safety and privacy of her family as reasons for her decision.
However, city council members were unable to terminate her powers at the September session: the relevant motion did not receive enough votes. As a result, the personnel issue remained unresolved.
