Mykolaiv has launched a tram that turns a ride into a journey through history
Posters about the region’s events and mysteries were displayed in the salon
In Mykolaiv they launched the “Local History Tram” — a joint project of KP “MykolaivElectrotrans” and the local history museum. It is intended to help passengers learn more about the history of their native region during daily rides.
Information posters were placed inside tram No.1112. They gathered materials covering millennia of history: events, interesting facts, mysteries, and records. Thanks to this, familiar city streets and places can be seen from a different perspective.
September 12 the tram will begin operating on route No.1. Afterwards it will run daily along various directions so that as many passengers as possible can learn about the project.
At ‘MykolaivElectrotrans’ they noted that this is only the first step in their joint work. The museum and the enterprise signed a memorandum of cooperation to create new projects aimed at preserving, promoting, and spreading historical heritage.
