Married couple wounded, husband in serious condition: Russians damaged a lyceum and three civilian vessels
Five drones at one community: Russians continue to strike civilians in Mykolaiv region
During August 2 and the morning of August 3, 2026, Russian occupying forces continued to attack Mykolaiv Oblast with strike drones. Under attack were Mykolaiv, the port infrastructure of Mykolaiv district, Snihurivka and settlements of the Snihurivka community.
As reported by the regional military administration as of 07:00 August 3, during the previous day the enemy attacked the region with strike UAVs of the “Shahed” type.
In Mykolaiv, a lyceum building was damaged as a result of a Russian strike. A school bus caught fire on the premises of the educational institution.
The port infrastructure of Mykolaiv district was also attacked. As a result of the strike, 3 civilian vessels were damaged. There is no information about casualties at this site.
In Snihurivka, a fire broke out in the production equipment of an agricultural enterprise as a result of the attack. According to official data, no people were injured in that strike.
The most severe consequences were recorded in the Snihurivka community of Bashtanka district. During the previous day and the morning of August 3, Russian forces attacked the community with 4 drones of the “Molniya” type and 1 FPV drone.
As a result of the strike carried out the day before, a couple was injured: a 66-year-old man and a 63-year-old woman. The man was hospitalized. Medical personnel assess his condition as severe and unstable. The woman is receiving outpatient treatment.
During the same attack a private residential house was damaged.
In the morning of August 3 the enemy again attacked the Snihurivka community. The strike damaged an administrative building and a retail establishment. According to preliminary information, no people were injured during the morning attack.
