Port and gas station under attack: Russians attacked the Mykolaiv region once again
Mykolaiv region experienced a new series of attacks
During Thursday, 23 July, and on the morning of Friday, 24 July 2026, Russian occupying forces attacked Mykolaiv Oblast with strike drones of the “Shahed/Herbera” type, a “Molniya” drone and FPV drones. The consequences of the strikes as of 07:00 were reported by the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration.
At about 05:00 today residents of Mykolaiv heard a loud explosion (seconds before the air raid alert was announced).
As a result of the “Shahed/Herbera” attack, port infrastructure was struck. Enemy drones attacked the region both during the previous day and on the morning of 24 July. According to preliminary official information, there are no casualties.
In the Bashtansky district, Russian forces on the morning of 24 July directed a “Molniya” type drone at the territory of the Snihurivka community. As a result of the enemy strike, a gas station building was damaged. No people were injured. In the Mykolaiv district on 23 July the occupiers attacked the Ochakiv community 3 times with FPV drones. According to the regional military administration, there are no wounded or dead as a result of these strikes.
