An 86-year-old resident of the Halytsynivka community, wounded during a Russian shelling on July 28, died in hospital

An 86-year-old man who was wounded during a Russian shelling of the Halytsynivka community on July 28 in Mykolaiv Oblast has died in hospital; this was reported by the acting head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, Heorhii Reshetilov.

“Sincere condolences to the family and loved ones,” wrote the acting head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, Heorhii Reshetilov.

According to regional authorities, that day the strikes hit the Ochakiv and Halytsynivka communities of Mykolaiv district, and in the village of Halytsynove an 86-year-old local resident was wounded and hospitalized in serious condition; a private house was also damaged.

That same day the region was attacked by Shahed kamikaze drones as well as munitions of the ‘Molniya’ and ‘Banderol’ types, resulting in damage to port infrastructure, residential buildings and warehouses.
