In Mykolaiv, two streets are being repaired: traffic may be restricted
Road workers are preparing the surface for further asphalt paving
29 July in Mykolaiv municipal workers are repairing two streets — Pohranychnu and Dmytra Yavornytskoho. Due to roadworks, traffic on some sections may be restricted.
Crews of KP «ELU Avtodorih» are milling the road surface as part of preparations for subsequent paving.
On Pohranychna Street the works continue from Mariupolska Street toward the Mykolaiv Zoo.
On Dmytra Yavornytskoho Street the road crews are working along the entire length in the Selyshche Horkoho neighborhood.
Milling is the first stage in eliminating emergency potholes. During the works, the damaged layer of asphalt concrete is removed and the base is prepared for laying a new surface.
The enterprise notes that the longevity of the repaired road depends on the quality of the preparatory stage.
Drivers are asked to be careful near the work sites, follow the requirements of temporary road signs and, if possible, plan their route in advance.
