In the Mykolaiv region, three cars collided: rescuers extricated the driver from the mangled passenger car
Two drivers sustained injuries; the other participants were not injured
On the morning of Friday, May 1, a traffic accident involving two passenger cars and a truck occurred near the city of Yuzhnoukrainsk in Mykolaiv Oblast, resulting in two drivers being transported to the hospital.
The incident and the operations carried out were reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Mykolaiv Oblast, noting that rescue units were dispatched to the scene.
The van driver was freed from the vehicle by bystanders and medics before the SES units arrived, after which he was hospitalized.
Rescuers extricated the driver from the heavily damaged passenger car and handed him over to the emergency medical team for further transport to a medical facility, while the passenger of that car was uninjured.
In the third vehicle the driver and passengers were uninjured, according to the rescue service.
To deal with the consequences of the accident, 4 rescuers and 1 unit of equipment were involved, and the causes and circumstances of the crash are being established by law enforcement.
