Strike in Korabelnyi: power outage in Mykolaivskyi district
Consequences of a Russian drone attack
April 29, 2026 (in the afternoon) Russian forces attacked the energy infrastructure of Mykolaiv Oblast with an assault drone of the type “Shahed“. As a result of a strike in the Korabelnyi district of the regional center, some consumers of Mykolaiv district were left without electricity.
The situation was reported by the head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, Vitaliy Kim, noting that specialists who are working on restoring electricity are already on site:
“The enemy attacked the region’s energy infrastructure with a “Shahed”. There are outages affecting some subscribers of Mykolaiv district. Restoration work is underway. As of now – no casualties”.
“Our services inspected the adjacent residential area. There were no damages”, – said Mayor Oleksandr Sienkevych.
According to preliminary data, there were no deaths or injuries. At the same time, the consequences of the attack once again confirm that Russian strikes continue to hit the region’s critical infrastructure, creating threats to the civilian population. Energy workers are working to restore electricity as quickly as possible for all subscribers who were left without power.
