To the editorial office of Korabelov.info came an emotional appeal from a resident of the Korabelnyi District of Mykolaiv, who described her morning trip to the regional hospital located on Kyivska Street. The woman claims that on March 16, 2026, the journey from her neighborhood (from Obyizna) to the medical facility took her almost two hours, and what angered her most was the long wait for public transport and the overcrowded minibuses.
The author of the appeal reported that as far back as last summer, during a personal reception with Mayor Oleksandr Sienkevych, she heard assurances that getting from the Korabelnyi District, particularly from Obyizna, to the city center was not a problem. However, according to her, her own trip showed a completely different picture. The resident described her route in detail:
“Morning of 16.03.2026: at 07:55 I am at the V. Kreminskoho stop. 08:05 — at A. Antoniuka (formerly Zhukova, I got there by minibus 17), waiting for public transport (that is, bus 1, 91, or trolleybus 10). There are many people, more than 20. They have been waiting since 8 o’clock, and some even earlier (because I asked). So, from 8:00 to 08:32 — not a single vehicle of the needed public transport arrived! During this time, route taxis 50, 53, and 2 passed by. Only 2 or 3 people could get in, because they were completely overcrowded!
Oh, finally, 08:32, trolleybus 10! I’m riding. Literally 2 minutes later, a large bus catches up (I didn’t see whether it was 1 or 91). Hey, transport department, where are your logistics experts? For half an hour there was nothing to leave on, and then they came one after another.
9 a.m., “Peremohy Square” stop, a minute of silence, the trolleybus stopped, passengers honored the memory of the fallen Defenders (only a teenager did not stand up, no one made a remark, neither did I, sadly…).
All transport kept moving, cars did not stop — that is the price of respect for human life, for those who gave us the opportunity to live today!…
