Diia has launched a service for submitting applications to the International Registry of Losses for those who have lost their jobs
You can submit a request online through the portal; the service is in beta and accepts cases of job loss due to the war
On the public services portal «Diia», a beta test of a service for submitting applications to the International Registry of Losses in the category of loss of paid employment due to the war has been launched, the Diia team reported on their resource.
The service explains that individuals who lost paid employment as a result of Russian aggression can apply. A submitted application records the losses suffered and may become a basis for potential reparations in the future.
People who lost their jobs and belong to one of the following categories can join the beta testing:
- employees who had an employment agreement or contract;
- specialists who performed work or services under civil‑law contracts;
- self‑employed persons.
The possibility to submit an application is also provided for those who worked under an oral agreement or in informal employment.
