The NMT can be taken in 31 countries around the world
The Ministry of Education has confirmed that in 2026 Ukrainian applicants will be able to take the National Multidisciplinary Test abroad at an expanded network of locations
The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine has confirmed that in 2026 Ukrainian applicants will be able to take the National Multidisciplinary Test abroad in 31 countries.
Information about organizing testing abroad was published by the Ministry and the Ukrainian Center for Educational Quality Assessment (УЦОЯО).
At the moment, the NMT is scheduled to be held in 52 cities outside Ukraine.
The main session is scheduled from May 20 to June 25; it will be held in Austria, Azerbaijan, Belgium, Bulgaria, the United Kingdom, Armenia, Georgia, Denmark, Estonia, Ireland, Spain, Italy, Canada, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Germany, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, the United States, Hungary, Finland, France, the Czech Republic, Switzerland and Sweden.
An additional session will take place from July 17 to July 24 and will be organized in Bulgaria, the United Kingdom, Spain, Italy, Ireland, Canada, Germany, Poland, Portugal, Croatia and the Czech Republic.
The Center noted that negotiations with certain foreign institutions are ongoing, so the list of locations may be expanded.
Registration for the NMT will begin on March 5 and run until April 2; through April 7 inclusive participants will be able to change their registration data and choose a different locality if a more convenient location becomes available. The Ukrainian Center for Educational Quality Assessment (УЦОЯО) notes that there is a limit on the number of seats abroad: once they are filled a particular locality will become unavailable for selection.
Testing abroad will take place in specially equipped temporary examination centers following the same procedures as in Ukraine; Ukrainian-speaking teachers trained by the Ukrainian Center for Educational Quality Assessment (УЦОЯО) will work with the applicants.
