The Ministry of Defense opens vacancies for military personnel and civilians: AI specialists, analysts, and economists needed

Ministry of Defence of Ukraine announced the recruitment of new specialists to strengthen the team and develop a modern defence system. The agency reported this on 13 March 2026.

This concerns both military personnel and civilian specialists who can help implement technologies, improve management, and strengthen Ukraine’s advantage on the battlefield.

Currently the Ministry of Defence is seeking specialists in several key areas:

• technologies and innovation — artificial intelligence, unmanned systems, data science, software engineering;
• defense economy — finance, procurement, investments, sanctions policy;
• analytics and strategy — data analysis, planning, military analytics;
• systems management — reforms and operational management;
• information-cognitive direction — countering propaganda and information operations.

You can join in various formats. These include:

• working on the staff of the Ministry of Defence;
• service in military structures;
• participation as an external expert, advisor, consultant or member of a supervisory board.

The agency notes that the defense system is currently undergoing active changes and needs people ready to work on new solutions and take responsibility for results. You can submit an application to participate in the selection through the online platform:
