Acquaintances asked him to give the woman a place to stay — he raped her in Kyiv
A 30-year-old native of Tajikistan was sentenced to four years in prison
In Kyiv, a court found a 30-year-old native of Tajikistan guilty of raping a woman. The city prosecutor’s press service reported the verdict.
The man’s acquaintances asked him to provide lodging to a woman who had come to the capital to arrange documents for traveling abroad. When the guest went to bed, the man raped her.
The prosecutor’s office described the consequences of the victim’s resistance:
“The victim resisted and sustained bruises and contusions.”
The accused’s actions were classified under Part 1 of Article 152 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The Dnipro District Court of Kyiv sentenced him to 4 years of imprisonment.
In the spring of 2025, this man was released from prison, where he had been serving a sentence for robbery. He is currently in custody.
