1,700 doses of the MMR (measles‑mumps‑rubella) vaccine will be transferred to hospitals in Mykolaiv region

Mykolaiv Regional Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine received 1700 doses of the MMR vaccine. The vaccine is intended to prevent measles, mumps and rubella.

The vaccine will be distributed among hospitals in the Mykolaiv region in the coming days.

The vaccine was delivered and received in compliance with cold chain requirements. Specialists are monitoring the temperature regime and storage conditions of the vaccine.

Compliance with these requirements is an important condition for preserving the vaccine’s quality and effectiveness.

Recently the Mykolaiv Regional Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine also received 1030 doses of the “Gardasil 9” vaccine against the human papillomavirus. The vaccine has already been delivered to healthcare facilities in the region.
