A Russian UAV struck a gas station on the Mykolaiv–Kherson highway: two women hospitalized, a fire broke out
The wounded have mine-blast and cranio-cerebral injuries; the man has traumatic amputation of his fingers
On Friday afternoon, June 5, on the «Mykolaiv – Kherson» highway an enemy drone struck an OKKO gas station, causing a fire and injuries.
The publication’s own sources reported the strike and the fire on the gas station’s premises, and witnesses posted video from the scene on social media.
According to the Kherson Regional Military Administration, at around 13:00 within the Chornobaivka community a drone attacked the gas station.
After the explosion a 35-year-old woman was taken to hospital with blast and closed traumatic brain injuries, as well as shrapnel wounds to the face and leg.
Another injured person is a 56-year-old woman, whom doctors diagnosed with blast and closed traumatic brain injuries and a shrapnel wound to the head.
Doctors assess both patients’ conditions as moderate; they are receiving necessary medical care.
In addition, a resident of Mykilske who sustained injuries as a result of Russian shelling was brought to the medical facility: a 53-year-old man has blast and closed traumatic brain injuries and traumatic amputation of fingers on his hand; his condition is also moderate, and the patient is hospitalized.
