The Mykolaiv 123rd Brigade carried out a unique operation with a robotic system on Kinburn
This is a new approach to war, where the most dangerous tasks are carried out by a machine
The servicemen of the 123rd Separate Territorial Defense Brigade carried out a unique combat operation on the Kinburn direction using a ground robotic system.
According to the 123rd Separate Territorial Defense Brigade, the ground robot was delivered to the enemy shore using an unmanned marine platform. After landing on occupied territory, the system was employed to carry out a combat mission.
The brigade notes that this is the first combat mission of this format known to them in the world.
The operation was conducted under the leadership of the commander of the 123rd Separate Territorial Defense Brigade, Colonel Oleh Makukha, and through the direct organization of the commander of the 1st Unmanned Systems Battalion, Major Denys Hipik.
The use of an unmanned raft makes it possible to deliver robotic systems to areas where carrying out tasks poses an extremely high risk to military personnel.
“This is a new approach to war, where the most dangerous tasks are performed by a machine, and Ukrainian military personnel are creating new rules of modern combat”, — emphasized the brigade.
The Kinburn direction remains part of the temporarily occupied territory of southern Ukraine, over which fighting continues.
