The keys have already been handed over: Mykolaiv received a large passenger bus from Uzhhorod
Transport should be directed to serve remote neighborhoods
The Mykolaiv city community received humanitarian aid from Uzhhorod City Council – a large passenger bus Mercedes-Benz O530G Citaro.
The transfer of the vehicle was announced on 19 June 2026.
It is an articulated low-floor bus, the so-called “accordion”, which can be used on city routes with high passenger traffic. The vehicle is to be directed to serve the remote neighborhoods of Mykolaiv, but a specific route has not yet been named.
The decision to transfer the bus was made after an appeal by Mykolaiv’s mayor Oleksandr Senkevych to the authorities of Uzhhorod. The vehicle was on the balance sheet of the municipal enterprise “Uzhhorod Municipal Transport”, however it was not used for regular passenger services in the community.
In view of this, the Uzhhorod City Council decided to transfer the vehicle for the needs of Mykolaiv.
The keys to the bus were handed over to Mykolaiv representatives in Uzhhorod.
The vehicle was received by the head of the communal property department Tetyana Dmytrova, the deputy head of the transport department Oleh Kuksa and the director of the municipal enterprise “Mykolaivpastrans” Dmytro Danylenko.
