Up to 20,000 veterans will be able to receive assistance: a new center will be built in Mykolaiv
The purpose of creating such a center is the comprehensive rehabilitation of veterans
In Mykolaiv, a project is being prepared to build a new veterans’ space. It is planned to be a modern center of support and adaptation for defenders.
Information about the project has been published in the digital system DREAM. The new construction is planned on Radisna Street.
The initiator and executor is the Department of Urban Planning, Architecture, Capital Construction and Project Development Support of the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration.
According to the description, the future space is to be a modern and accessible building combining functionality and comfort. They plan to arrange a spacious lobby for meetings, multifunctional halls for training, offices for consultations, and relaxation areas.
The facade will be made of natural materials symbolizing resilience and openness. Inside, modern technologies, ergonomic furniture and a comfortable environment for communication and support are planned.
The aim of creating such a center is the comprehensive rehabilitation of veterans, their social adaptation and integration into society. It is expected that up to 20 thousand people will be able to use the services of the space.
Currently the project is at the preparatory stage. The estimated duration of construction will be about 18 months, however the cost of works has not yet been determined.
