The circumstances surrounding the mobilization of a school principal in Ternopil region have been under review in court for about a year. At the time he was called up, the man was head of a school in the village of Hrabovets, which was left without a principal as a result.
The principal’s colleagues say he was placed on a wanted list because of a mix-up at the territorial recruitment center (TRC). The man decided to go to the center himself, but was mobilized afterward. By the next morning, he was already at a training ground.
A member of parliament shared the educator’s story after visiting a lyceum in the village of Velyki Hai. This village and Hrabovets are part of the same community.
“And what’s the result? Two schools are without principals, while the Defense Forces are without a soldier, because court proceedings are already underway. And the mobilized principal won a new competition at a new school, but still cannot look after the SCHOOL and the children,” wrote MP Oleksii Honcharenko.
The circumstances of the mobilization and the lawfulness of the TRC’s actions still require further clarification.
