Mykolaiv librarians were honored with certificates and letters of appreciation on their professional holiday

Today, September 30, a ceremony took place at the Mykolaiv Academic Art Drama Theatre in honor of the All‑Ukrainian Library Day. The best library workers were awarded honorary certificates and letters of appreciation for their professionalism and significant contribution to the development of the region’s cultural space. According to Telegram @mykolaivrada.

According to the Mykolaiv City Council, the celebration brought together specialists whose daily work provides residents with access to knowledge and culture and helps preserve the literary heritage.

Representatives of the city and regional authorities addressed greetings to the librarians:

• Yurii Lyubarov — Head of the Department of Culture and Arts of the Mykolaiv City Council;
• Anton Tabunshchyk — Head of the Mykolaiv Regional Council;
• Yurii Granaturov — Deputy Head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration (OVA);
• Olena Buberenko — Head of the Department of Culture, Nationalities and Religions of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration (OVA).

The final highlight of the event was a festive concert program presented by creative ensembles of Mykolaiv.
