Three children were immediately removed from their families in Mykolaiv due to a threat to their lives

Last week in Mykolaiv, three children were immediately removed from two families: staying with their parents posed a threat to their health and lives. To make the decision, an extraordinary meeting of the executive committee of the Mykolaiv City Council was promptly convened.

In one family the mother was raising two children. In the other family, where both parents were present, there was one child. In both cases the adults’ lifestyle created a danger for the children.

At the request of the Children’s Service of the Mykolaiv City Council, the executive committee adopted a decision to immediately remove the children. They were placed in the city children’s hospital for medical examination.
