15 new sandboxes have appeared on children's playgrounds in Mykolaiv

On playgrounds in various districts of Mykolaiv, 15 new wooden sandboxes were installed. In the Korabelnyi district, the structures appeared at three addresses.

The sandboxes were handed over to the municipal enterprise “DEZ ‘Pilot'” by a public organization. They were manufactured as part of the “Unity for the Community” project. Representatives of the Mykolaiv Construction Vocational College joined the work.

During manufacturing, traditional Western European woodworking technologies were used to ensure the strength and durability of the structures. The sandboxes on the playgrounds were installed by specialists from the municipal enterprise “DEZ ‘Pilot'”.

In the Inhulskyi district the new structures were placed at the following locations:

• Mykolaivska Street, 17-A and 19-A;
• Pivdenna Street, 49-A;
• Vzuttievyk Square;
• Myru Avenue, 23-A and 23-B.

In the Central district the sandboxes were installed at the addresses:

• Ihor Bedzai Street, 108;
• Novoodeska Street, 38;
• Kolodiazna Street, 11;
• 6 Slobidska Street, 11;
• Heroes of Ukraine Avenue, 87-A.

In the Zavodskyi district the structures appeared at the following locations:

• Ozerna Street, 1-A;
• Yevhen Lohinov Street, 18;
• Centralnyi Avenue, 9.

In the Korabelnyi district of Mykolaiv the sandboxes were installed at the following addresses:

• Okeanivska Street, 32;
• Okeanivska Street, 36;
• Dmytro Petukhov Street, 1.

The city council explained that the initiative is intended to help create more comfortable and modern spaces for children in different neighborhoods of Mykolaiv. They also thanked the representatives of the Mykolaiv Construction Vocational College for their support and contribution to the development of playgrounds.
